The Texas Exes Care Project - Dallas Chapter - DISD Goes to College: E3 Event

The Texas Exes Care About THE PROJECT is a program designed to unite alumni nationwide for a single day of service during the month of February. This is an extension of the premier service event at The University of Texas at Austin, designed by students to benefit the many Austin neighborhoods surrounding the campus now spreading to Chapter/Network communities.

DISD Goes To College: E3 Event on Saturday Feb. 25, 2012 from 8:30AM - 1PM
This event will have three components geared towards the overall experience that college life has to offer. Exhibits which will be from different colleges and universities as well as public programs available to students. Exploring college-specific life through a scavenger hunt designed to get the students engaged in learning about different schools. Experiences via skits and vignettes about college life.

If you are an entering freshman or transfer student planning to attend The University of Texas at Austin in Fall 2012 and are interested in our scholarship program, click here to begin the registration process.

All applications must be submitted to the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter no later than March 2, 2012.

In 2010, the Dallas Chapter awarded 23 scholarships totaling approximately $61,000 to deserving local students, and the Dallas Chapter has awarded 348 scholarships totaling in excess of $578,000 since 1996.
