The Legacy Group of The Dallas Texas Exes are pleased to welcome Leslie Cedar, CEO & Executive Director of the Texas Exes, and Machree Gibson, President of the Texas Exes, as our special guests at our “First Thursday“ of the Month Happy Hour, on February 2nd , from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm in the private Fireside Room at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse.
This is a great opportunity to come hear what is going on at our beloved 40 Acres from our esteemed guests while mixing and mingling and making new friends with fellow UT alumni.
This annual signature event at Pappas Bros. kicks off our 2012 year of events for the Legacy Group.
We have many wonderful functions and activities planned for the year, including our Inaugural Poker Night on March 3rd to celebrate Texas Independence Day!

The Texas Exes Care About THE PROJECT is a program designed to unite alumni nationwide for a single day of service during the month of February. This is an extension of the premier service event at The University of Texas at Austin, designed by students to benefit the many Austin neighborhoods surrounding the campus now spreading to Chapter/Network communities.
DISD Goes To College: E3 Event on Saturday Feb. 25, 2012 from 8:30AM - 1PM
This event will have three components geared towards the overall experience that college life has to offer. Exhibits which will be from different colleges and universities as well as public programs available to students. Exploring college-specific life through a scavenger hunt designed to get the students engaged in learning about different schools. Experiences via skits and vignettes about college life.
